Needs Suggestions on Where to Stay in Mauritius

I and my family are planning to visit Africa, soon after the pandemic, and we all were running a search on Google to figure out where will be safe for us, so we came across a post about the safest countries in Africa, where Mauritius happens to be one. However, we're planning to visit Mauritius for the very first time, and I'd like to know more about accommodation and places to visit. Any suggestion?
