Le Morne Brabant is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its historical significance as a refuge for escaped slaves. The mountain rises 556 meters above the lagoon and offers one of the most rewarding hikes in Mauritius, with panoramic views of the west coast and the underwater waterfall illusion. The hike is challenging but achievable, taking about 3-4 hours round trip with a guide.
