The most photographed church in Mauritius, with its iconic red roof overlooking the sea.
The chapel with the red roof, Notre Dame Auxiliatrice, at Cap Malheureux, is very famous and probably one of the most well-known photography spots in Mauritius. Located at the most northerly point of Mauritius, this is where the British first landed before laying claim to the island in 1810. The church offers stunning views of Coin de Mire island and is a popular spot for wedding photos.
