Why go
Leave the mainland behind for a while.
Ilot Sancho is an island or islet destination in Mauritius. Its main appeal is its island scenery and coastal context, making it most relevant to travellers planning a coastal or island-focused day. Travellers focused mainly on inland attractions may prefer to treat it as a secondary stop rather than a must-do.
Visit length varies with how deeply you explore; for organised experiences, use the operator’s confirmed duration and inclusions rather than old listings. Check current access, booking and opening information before setting out. Pair it with other attractions in the same part of the island to keep the day practical.
