Why go
Step into a small piece of Mauritian history.
Naval Museum is a museum or heritage site in Mauritius. Its main appeal is its historical and cultural context, making it most relevant to travellers interested in history, heritage and local culture. Travellers focused mainly on adrenaline activities or beach-only days may prefer to treat it as a secondary stop rather than a must-do.
Visit length varies with how deeply you explore; for organised experiences, use the operator’s confirmed duration and inclusions rather than old listings. Check current access, booking and opening information before setting out. Pair it with other attractions in the same part of the island to keep the day practical.
