Blue Bay Marine Park

South EastSeaUnique

Crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs in a protected marine sanctuary

Blue Bay Marine Park is one of Mauritius' most precious natural treasures and the island's only designated marine park. The protected waters are home to over 50 species of coral and hundreds of species of colorful fish, making it one of the best snorkeling spots in Mauritius. The crystal-clear turquoise waters allow visibility of up to 15 meters, revealing a stunning underwater world. Sea turtles are regularly spotted here, along with parrotfish, damselfish, and occasional octopuses. Glass-bottom boat tours offer a window into this underwater paradise for non-swimmers. As a protected area, the marine park has strict regulations to preserve its ecosystem. The calm, shallow lagoon is perfect for families, and the nearby Ile des Deux Cocos adds another dimension to your visit.
